linux-image-mako software package provides Linux kernel image for the Nexus4 (mako)., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linux-image-mako
linux-image-mako is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linux-image-mako package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linux-image-mako *
You will get with linux-image-mako package name, version, architecture and description in a table
